The heart behind Nonna’s Love Initiative
Nonna’s Love Initiative was inspired by my grandmother, a caring and strong woman who passed away from cancer in 2018. Her diagnosis came suddenly, and within a month our family lost her as the disease rapidly progressed.
Experiencing that moment showed me how overwhelming and lonely a cancer journey can feel — not only for patients, but for the families beside them.
After witnessing how many people face cancer with fear and uncertainty, I wanted to create something that brings warmth, companionship, and moments of normal life during an incredibly difficult time.
Nonna’s Love Initiative exists so no patient has to feel like they are going through this alone.

Nonna’s Love Initiative exists to offer a comforting embrace, reminding patients that their journey is shared, and they are never alone. We aim to bring a sense of relief and support, making the medical hardship just one part of their journey, not their entire story.
